Here are some photos of some spaces we have created and loved.
These spaces are comprised of items and furniture purchased from thrift stores; remade and repurposed with care.
This Queen size bed just barely fit into this small main floor master bedroom, so dark colours just won't do! Clean and bright colours to keep things looking spacious as possible. Textiles and art work clearance from Target, lamp is thrifted, and curtain rod is made from two old broom sticks!
We needed to find a tiny practical dresser to fit into this tiny bedroom, so we found one from an used furniture store, painted it a nice accent colour and put natural wood trim around the base to give it interest and fix the broken leg it had! The mirror and baskets are from thrift stores, and the birch candle holders was made from an downed tree and a drill press!
We designed and created a hanging light fixture and artistic shelves and wall art and also sewed curtains and hand painted a pattern on them. Everything else was bought online on at the thrift store. Budget 500 dollars in materials.
